Soul of Langston: Poetry, Percussion, and Purpose In-Person
Arts for Learning Virginia’s Gary “Juju” Garlic will use drumming and poetry to lead participants in interactive workshops to explore poet Langston Hughes’s impact on literature, culture, and social justice. Each workshop will build on the previous one, with participants having the opportunity to share their creative work with the community in a final event on Oct. 25.
