We will be celebrating the accomplishments of some of our local Senior Citizens as they have completed an 8 week Introduction to Computers and the Internet. We started with el=xplanations of the equipment and how to turn them on. We discussed icons on the desktop and how to manipulate files using File Explorer before getting familiar with Microsoft Word. We then dove into websites and searching the internet. We covered online awareness and safety. Students completed daily observable work were required to participate in discusiions. Class was concluded with a Vocabulary and a Pratical assessment.
