PET BEDS - Sew-4-Service Month - BOOK AN APPT! In-Person
Throughout November, visit the RMP Maker studio and sew a pet bed to donate to a local shelter. You must book an appointment by calling 757-441-1750 ext 322 or by emailing pretlowmakerstudio@norfolk.gov. (Please note appointments will be available between 11-4 pm Tuesday through Friday.) Not only will you learn some basic sewing skills but you will also creating a cozy bed for a pet in need. Donations of large scrap fabric would be greatly appreciated. Also, we will be accepting donations of dog and cat food, toys, and other necessities throughout November to show our support for our local pets-in-need. (Note: This project counts towards service hours for NPS)
